Tayler was having a fun day w/some friends on a snowmobile when a tree jumped out and attacked her! Leave it to a little ole' tree to ruin a good time. 6 Stitches later and (a starbucks cocoa for being such a trooper) and we are home.Kinda ironic that our pastor preached today on James
4:13-17. It's the verses that talk about "if God wills" and how we (people in general) "plan" our lives....thinking we got it all in control...and we should as believers...be everyday living our lives w/the constant though process...of "God, what you will....is perfect for me...help me to accept what that is." We didn't "plan" on this happening today, but it did. God knew...and he protected little Tayler from serious injury.
"Oh, God thank you for your protection today...thank you for your will for our lives, that even though we don't know what you have...help us to live constantly...in awe and wonder of what it is that you are going to do in and through our lives. Help us to graciously accept whatever it is and w/joy serve you, love and grow more like you through these "blips" in our "perfect plan. We want to live in complete obedience to you in everything we do...make us more like you"
