Perenial Flax--Saphire

This is an absolutely gorgeous plant that looks in such sorry shape after our high winds and 92" of rain the past 18 days. (Thats is a joke)
We are literally swimming in our yard.

Michigan has had like 10 days of rain straight. I wish I had a picture of it before the rains started. It is so graceful and elegant. It almost has a asparagus fern type foilage and with these delicate little saphire flowers that come out each day. It usually stands upright and the top just gently bends over. Posted by Picasa
