Annual 4th of July Camping

We got back this afternoon, tired and full of Sand, but we just had a wonderful time on Lake Michigan. I'll be blogging more, but tonight I just want to sleep on my air bed.....not that the pop-up camper was bad....from tent camping the past couple years....this was just heaven!!!!! But...I am ready for a good nights rest.

We swam in the HUGE waves on Lake Michigan, swam in our great pool at our campground, visited Holland and Muskegeon, saw some great FREE museums, climbed Dunes, ate lots of yummy camp food, saw the famous musical fountain and sychronized fire works to patriotic music ( best I've ever, ever seen) Did lots of bike riding, walked out to lighthouses and enjoyed sitting around the campfire. Now it's back to reality.

Cleaning house, laundry, mowing lawn, driving kids to VBS all week...you know...the summer will be gone before we know it...however, this was a great reprive for us all! Posted by Picasa
