Our field trip was to Crosswinds Marsh and Nature Preserve It was a beautiful 57 degree morning. We learned things about Beavers, Eagles and viewed a beautiful 6 foot by 7 foot Eagle nest. We saw all kinds of plant life. I don't think I've EVER enjoyed a field trip more, except maybe to the DSO. (Detroit Symphony Orchestra) That, due to the fact that I just LOVE classical music. The kids all enjoyed this immensly too. Who wouldn't rather be in a canoe than a classroom?
