Okay, that is just hysterical; but true enough. The next three nights, my kids are going to be nourished back to health. 3 friends are feeding us and one is taking Sawyer to play for the day on Wednesday--while we try and do some school. He is going bonkers.
Okay, back to the remodel. Where the fridge is here in this picture, is where it will stay. We took out the last of the counter tops today and the upper and lower cabinets that used to reside there. (Yup, tomorrow is garbage day) It looks like a regular dump at the end of our driveway.
On the bright side....I ordered the Corian today. Granola is the color I'm pretty sure we are going with. However no descision has to be made until they do the final measure. I have ordered an acutal 2 x 2 chunk of this color that will hopefully come tomorrow. They should be out by the end of the week to do a final measure and 10-14 days after that, we should be up and running w/a sink again. Woo Hoo! I don't know how Ma and Pa Ingalls did it?

Hey there! I'm due on Nov. 17th, so I really hope your prediction is WRONG Karen!!! :-)
So, Jonathan and I have been faithfully watching your kitchen remodel. If I weren't preggo he would be up there in a heartbeat helping Blair and Jeff lay those floors. He's commented several times on that. But of course in my state, leaving home just isn't an option. And by the time I am ready for him to leave, your kitchen should be done!! Happy for you!!
Your blogs are great. You have 4 beautiful children and are doing a great job raising/homeschooling them. I pray that we will do just as good a job. I desperately want to homeschool. I have 100% support from Jonathan and my mom, who would be of great help!! So, we'll see what the future holds. This kitchen remodel is a unit study in and of itself...it has everything...science, math, English, health (i.e. what not to eat for dinner! ha ha).
Keep us posted with everything. We love it!
