We were blessed w/a last and final hurrah (trip) when a friend of mine invited the kids and I to come hang out with her and her kids for 3 days up in 20 minutes North of Alpena.Her cottage was on Grand Lake. Just on the other side of the tree line was Lake Huron. We enjoyed 3 days of eating and.....eating and playing and...eating and visiting the Presque Isle Lighthouse and ....yup..more eating. It was a great last getaway before the school year.

Grand Lake is where we go with our friends to their cottage every summer! We visit the lighthouse when we are up there too. What a small world!
