Losses

Green Bay lost Sunday night and so did Sawyer.

Luke and Sawyer love to play a version of tackle football down the basement; especially during commercials/half-time of televisied games. Much to our warnings...

"one of you is going to get hurt" or "I'm warning you....stop before someone
gets hurt"

How many 6 and 8 year olds want to stop playing tackle football b/c they "might" get hurt one day? :)

Well, Green Bay lost (boo hoo--we were cheering hard for them, but what a sad loss) and so did Sawyer while waiting. He colidied with the stool while attempting a tackle. The light color is Monday, the dark, yucky color day is today. YUCK-O!

As I looked closer at it today, I thank God for His provision in safety. How amazing he makes our bodies to protect itself despite all the things we do/or don't do to take care of them. He has made all our body parts to work together. The eyelid, the eye lashes that keep dirt and dust from entering our eye, the muscles that quickly shut the eye to protect it, the tears to lubricate it. These are just the simple, obvious things I can see. The complexities of the eye, I can't begin to fathom. Makes me thankful for a God I can't begin to fathom, yet a God who I can know because He is my Lord. WOW.

Makes me think of Psalms 100:3

Know that the LORD, he is God!It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
