Aperture & my DSLR

I'm having a lot of fun playing w/the new camera! Something I was really
excited about with this DSLR, was being able to do things w/aperture.
Now, all these terminologies are new to me. After learning what that word meant,
I know what it is...only not the term. All this phrase-ology is new to me.


I honestly have NO idea what I'm doing. But..since getting my camera....I keep meeting all these people who have the Rebel. Some with just the XT, several w/the XTi. So it's been fun talking w/them and each person has been so willing to show me things. I just learned from my neighbors son yesterday, that the little dial thing on my camera changes the aperture when I have it in AV mode. (I had no clue) Haven't had
time to read my manual as my mom just flew out this morning and I had better things to do than read it.

I'll post some favorite pictures this morning. I also need to be posting my summer reading list. My friend Gretchen is always so 'on top of things' and has posted summer reading lists for her sisters. I need to post mine as well.
