Day 8 D.T. Fleming Beach

This Beach Blair and Von had body surfed earlier in the week and kept trying to get us to go with them. So on this last day in Hawaii, we headed up there. It was a long 1 hour and 15 minute drive to the North West part of the Island. The beach was gorgeous. The water was the warmest I'd felt since being in Maui. It was windy (as all of Maui is windy) and the sand blew up quite a bit, but it was worth it to see this gorgeous beach. We spent several hours there getting some great sun, riding some great waves and relishing our last few hours in this amazing place. We went back packed up and Blair and I ate dinner/lunch at the Pa'ia Fish Market. We had Mahi Mahi one last time and flew to the airport to return our car and try to get on a flight somewhere. Our journey home ended up: Maui to Honolulu. Honolulu to L.A. L.A. to Indianapolis. Indianapolis to Detroit. We started out in Maui at 10:30 at night and arrived in Detroit around 5 p.m. the next day.All I can say is: If you get the chance. Go. You will never regret it. Yes, it's expensive. But I can't wait to go back
