Rebel XTi

Well, my new Canon Rebel XTi came in the mail today. It was torture waiting for the battery to charge so I could play. There is so much to learn. I really have no clue, but am really anxious to figure a few things out.

I loved practicing and standing across the room and getting so close to Sawyer's freckles and picking out the dead leaf on the Geranium and being able to capture it clearly and closely.

I'm sure I have no idea what this camera and the lenses I got with it can do...but I hope to have years to figure it out!

I got a Sigma 28-70mm and a 70-300mm and a .45 Wide Angle. It's SO much fun!

did everything come as a kit? I've been talking to Kevin about upgrading ours too! Let me know how things go as you learn...

Pretty flower picture! We love our new camera too, especially the 12x zoom. Have fun with your Canon!

You are going to LOVE it! That's the camera we use, although we just have one 18-200 lens. It takes beautiful pictures. Have fun and keep posting them!

Morning Rose--What kind of camera did you get?

Kelly--It did come as a kit. But the problem I found was so many of the Rebel's that come in a kit was with a lens I didn't want. But finally came across this one that had those 2 sigma lenses that will be fine for me starting out. I read tons of reviews on lenses and camera bodies. That is how I made my decision, really off other's reviews. I also talked to Teren.

I got lots of 'other' things in the kit (which I doubt I'll really use) that are no-names, but it was the same price, actually a little less, than buying the camera and the two sigma lenses separate.
