Groothuis/Hindt Reunion

Day One: We ended up at Brad and Jenny's at 11 p.m. Sebastian and Gabriel waited up for us. (along w/new little Zamira who wasn't feeling so good) After hugs and laughs at how all had grown, and a little unwinding by pillow fighting and wrestling down the basement, the kids settled into bed and Jenny and I settled into the couch to catch up.

What is it about someone that you can not see for years and when you do see them, it's like you saw them yesterday. It's such a joy and comfort to have a friend like Jenny. God has truly placed His merciful hand on their family and what a delight and joy to see how HE is working in them, through adoption. Jenny said how amazing it is when you step out in faith, to see God work.

We spent the day Monday at a TERRIFIC water park in Marion, Iowa. 9 of their kids and our 4. So 13 kids all together. Still made me realize what Jenny does everyday. WOW.
